New to the Company
We would like to welcome Tim Duncan to our Honda Sales Management Staff. (FYI – NOT the Pro-basketball player from San Antonio) Tim comes to us with extensive sales and finance experience from local area Honda, Toyota, BMW, Audi and Porsche stores. In fact, 10 years ago, he and Earl Errera, our Director of Honda Sales, worked together at another Honda store. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and two boys (7 and 5 years old) and will celebrate his 10 wedding anniversary next month. |
2012 Chicago Auto Show: The Beetle Goes Diesel
The third member of the redesigned VW Beetle family was introduced in the Second City recently, when Volkswagen took the wraps off of the 2013 Beetle TDI at the annual Chicago Auto Show. Joining the Beetle and Beetle Turbo, the diesel-powered model relies on Volkswagen’s high-efficiency, low-emissions TDI technology to deliver EPA ratings of 29 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.

This Oil Is Considered "Gold!"
At first glance of the above headline, you‘d think we were talking about the oil crisis or the fees you have been paying at the pump. But we all have read so many headlines regarding that subject that we didn‘t want to bore you... nor frighten you about gasoline. So the oil that is our subject today is of an entirely different nature. It‘s olive oil! Few foods have the foundation in history that olive oil has. Homer called it "liquid gold." Greek athletes rubbed it over their bodies. It was used as medicine, food, and as a cosmetic. And olive branches are still used as emblems of peace.

Horrible Storms Hits Ourisman
Restoring power in storm-damaged parts of Washington took over five days in some areas.
A line of powerful thunderstorms with winds of more than 80 mph and heavy rain accompanied by intense lightning tore through the area late on Friday June 29th, downing trees and power lines.
About 800,000 customers in Maryland were without power, by Saturday every county in the state had reported outages.
